Econfina Creek; and they sponsor a two-mile section of the Adopt-A-Highway Project on 15th Street. The local Parrot Heads have volunteered and raised funds for such local causes such as PC Marine Institute Auction and Telethon, Zoo World, Save the Manatees
and their adoptee “Rosie”, Bay County Council on Aging,
Alzheimer’s, American Cancer Society, Children’s Home Society, Down Syndrome Society and Second Chance of Northwest Florida. They also have a PCPHC Scholarship which sponsors a local non-honors student for two years; and annually adopt two local underprivileged families and provide them with a Christmas to remember.

With the devastation from hurricanes in recent years, PCPHC donated over $2,600 to “Reason with Hurricane Season” the PHIN
FUND (Parrot Heads in Need) for
members affected by these natural disasters. Contrary to popular belief, the Parrot Head
organization

Panama City Parrott Heads meet on the first and third Friday of each
month, and individuals who are interested in partying
for a purpose are welcome to attend. Just grab your tropical shirt and go. For
