Lena is one of those rare silent members that step right up and volunteer to do a task for the club without being asked. You'll see her quick and ready smile helping out at the membership table, selling our club t-shirts, manning a scrub brush, carrying a trash bag or finding a lost looking soul and leading them to the right place to get the "answers to questions that bother us so." Her sense of wonder and inquisitive mind is delightful. You may have missed her because she's not in the forefront, but you can bet if she sees someone who needs a hand or a job that needs doing, she's the one who'll step up and get it done without fan fare or expectation of reward. Lena embodies the true Parrot Head Spirit of giving and serving.
