of surprises, March's Member of the Month surprised us all by leaving
before we could "Surprise" her with our tribute to her talents
and devotion to our club. We'll have to bring her up in April to
receive her certificate. Sorry girl... you were just too fast for
us this time.
When the sun goes down, you're sure to find Ms. Mary Lou somewhere on or near the water's edge, giving thanks to the man who gave us life, this wonderful planet and all the bounty thereon. She's been a very active and valuable member of our Panama City Parrot Head Club, giving to us her time, talent and leading our tribute to the God Almighty for all of our many blessings. Taught to blow the conch by a local artisan, Mary Lou has taken this to an all time high, being the first to celebrate the sun going down on our newest blessing, Margaritaville, Panama City Beach, FL and by winning Second Place at the National Conch Blowing Contest in Key West, FL just a short week later. She's celebrated sun down at Parrot Head Rendezvous and will make her
third appearance at our 3rd Annual Parrot Head Rendezvous April
2008. Always ready with a smile and a hug, Mary Lou is our Number
one Parrot Head for the Month of March 2008. |
