January 2008 Members of the Month
Janice Peek & Brenda Nichols

No they're really not twins, but where you
see one, you'll see these two together and
you'll see them every time PCPHC has a
function! Members since 2007 these ladies
have jumped right in to become
very active and participating members.

They truly understand the concept of PHlock,
having been close Phriends for 8 years. They
have contributed  in countless ways to the
Party With a Purpose projects that the club
sponsors.  They truly are Angels in
Tropical Shirts.

Three years ago the club came up the the idea of having a float in the local Mardi Gras parades,
our first year we borrowed a flat bed from a local moving company and decorated it.  Then we got the inspiration, Why not have our own float, one we could build one time and redecorate at will.  While still brand new to the club these two rushed in to help with that project. They relished the demolition process as we got the trailer ready to be a float. Swinging that sledge hammer made quick work of taking down these cabinets! Janice later said, "It was fun, helped to take out some frustrations and relieve some stress."

Warning:
Stand back when these two
get hammers in their hands!  WOO HOO!
They can get the job done in true Parrot
   Head fashion.

Pictured here at STARS in Orange Beach, AL
these ladies represent our club well every where
they go.  From volunteering to help with island
clean ups, highway cleanups and Parrot Head
Rendezvous they're always on the move together
to serve PCPHC.

They have been described by other Parrot Head
PHriends as enjoying reading, the beach, and the
Parrot Head life style.  They love people, especially
other Parrot Heads and managed to balance being
Moms, work loads and their personal life while
helping others by Partying with a Purpose.  Brenda
has two children.  Janice has two children and five grandchildren.

We've never known these two to say no to anything
Panama City Parrot Head Club needs them to do.
Be sure to congratulate them on being great contributing members serving our little piece of paradise with giving
hearts, hands and spirits.
