Hi Y'all,
Ummmm a word from the membership chairperson? "Word"
Okay I am having too much PHun.

"We are the people your parents warned you about!" Join us in partying with a PURPOSE and conscience! Come help us help help our community: raft up at the island to clean up the island, along with food, drinking and merriment. We've volunteered to help Zoo World with their local appreciation weekend and Zoobalee. We host raffles benefiting various charities; and roadside clean up. These are just a few projects we are involved in for our community. Our biggest event of the year, Parrot Head Rendezvous is a 3 day Party with a Purpose Trop Rock Festival benefiting Anchorage Children's Home. So come on and join the Panama City Parrot Head Club and get in on the crazy PHUN!"

I know it was way back in 07 that I had sent the schedule out and some of us have slept since then,
lucky for me I printed the "volunteer" schedule.

Remember to work the desk, you have to have a drink in hand!

Member News: Where are they Now?

Panama City Parrot Head Club's first member, Jeff Withhart, is pictured below on S/V Sol Searcher
at a 2005 PCPHC Raft Up at Shell Island. At the time Jeff was unemployed due to a back injury. Holder of a 1600 ton license, Jeff's injury prevented him from returning to duty on commercial vessels.
Facing numerous surgeries and physical therapy however, did not stop Jeff from positive thinking and
actions. Engaged to Ms. Lauren Lloyd, Bill Lloyd's daughter, the couple married and moved to
Washington, D. C.

After surgery, physical therapy, and completing an associate degree this spring, Jeff Withhart has been accepted into the John Hopkins School of Radiology and will begin classes in this prestigious
and tough program to become a certified radiologist. Way to go Jeff and congratulations from your Parrot Head Phriends in Panama City, Florida!
